How To Get Top $ For Wow Recipes
With WOW recipes, you can get stronger, or complete your profession by finding a recipe, then making items. WOW recipes come in a few different forms. They can be scrolls, notes, paper sheets, or books. Many of them are in limited supply.
Some of the primary profession recipes include:
Mining
Blacksmithing
Tailoring
Leatherworking
Engineering
Enchanting
Alchemy
Jewlcrafting
Inscription
Secondary profession recipe’s have:
Cooking
First Aid
Fishing
Many players do not call the recipes by their names, but instead just refer to them as patterns, plans or designs. Some recipes give directions on how to make an item, others make you stronger by improving your skills.
Recipes that are in the form of an item can be found at some vendor stations thought the world, but they can also be drops from mobs. In the WOW recipe game manual, they are sometimes referred to as blueprints.
Recipes also come in different colors, and the color is associated with the items rarity. White scrolls are usually the “common” recipes purchased from vendors. The other colors are either dropped by monsters or obtained from quests and are more unusual or more powerful, and harder to obtain.
If you want to sell a recipe that you find useless, take note. Some players will pay a more for a recipe than it’s worth just because they love their profession and want to complete it. They just have to have it, no matter what the cost. So be sure to check the market price of anything before you sell it to make sure you get top dollar for it.
Don’t go overboard on your asking pricing though. Some cooking recipes found on white scrolls are rare but can be bought fairly cheaply. These are the ones that only Horde characters can obtain and the opposite faction can learn the recipe by selling it in the neutral auction house.
Just always check the market price first and you’ll be fine.
