Are Athiests Drawn Away From God Because Of There Sinful Lifestyles Or Does There Godlessness Lead Them To Sin?

Do they choose to live in sin (blasphemy, sodomy etc) and because of this they ignore God, or does there denial of God lead them to sin?
I am asking because I need to understand there minds so I can help them.

    First off, atheists do not need help because they actually see things more clearly. Instead of relying on some unknown being that more than likely does not exist, they choose to look at things rationally. Second, has it ever occurred to you that maybe they are not the ones who need help, but in fact it is YOU who needs help?
    Also, this question is clearly that of some ignorant person who believes their way to be the only right way. How foolish of you.
