Instead Of Sucking Back Oil Like The Gluttons They Are, Should Americans Give Up Their Suburban Lifestyles?

Their two cars, 3000 square foot houses, large useless yards full of large useless lawncare products, ugly stripmalls and clogged freeways?
Oh wait, they don’t have much of a choice, do they?

We will not suffer. We will just figure it out.

I live in a suburb only because it is cheaper and safer than living in the city, as for sacrificing, I would love it if we had buses and trains in the suburbs to get us around, I hate driving, as for my large yard I have horses, I don’t have a 3000 square foot home, I have just the right amount of space for a family of 3. We have 2 cars because my husband’s job is sales and he has to drive and I have a toddler and have to be able to get to the store and or doctor, again would rather use mass transit unfortunately it is not offered. Would love to do away with strip malls, I always like mom and pops better.
