Is It Child Abuse To Force Kids To Learn About Alternative Lifestyles And Global Warming In Elementary School?

Should you be forced to learn about alternative lifestyles (they are doing this in CA) and global warming (yesterday’s Investors Business Daily article)?
We didn’t learn about such things as children. I don’t want my kids knowing that stuff.
