From what I have seen and heard it seems they want every-ones lifestyle to be the same.
My belief is that every American needs to be provided equal opportunity to succeed.

The children were allowed to play OUTSIDE and UNSUPERVISED! they played in dirt, climbed dirty trees, swam in dirty sea water and even built tree houses from dirty wood (ugh all the germs)
a lot of people smoked cigarettes.
They ate allot of junk food like white bread (which they spread with real butter), bacon, eggs, cooked food in lard and had 2 sugars in coffee. Plus mothers fed their kids crap like pie, cookies and brownies.

For example, being a farmer in a simple land with no taxes, being a monk in the mountains, living a Viking lifestyle, living in tribes, and more?
The lifestyle of houses,electricity, and cars just don’t interest me much anymore.
