What Are The Differences Between Pilot’s And Ground Troops Lifestyles In Ww1?

  1. My Name Sucks Too says:

The difference was that the pilots got to create a home behind the front line. They could enjoy, a warm bed, hot food and relative safety for maybe weeks on end.
Soldiers had to live in the cold, cramped and often wet mud of the trenches. Diseases ravaged them, along with numerous rats which would prey on the few morsels of food that they had. Some times they could even find rats eating away on themselves. And also lets not forget that they were always susceptible to enemy attack, whether it day long artillery barrages, gas attacks, mining, snipers or massive trench assaults from the apposing side. Most of their time was spent in boredom and hunger though with sometime away from the front line.
Pilots had way better life styles but their mission was more dangerous than the ground soldiers.
