I Want To Hook Up A Dvd Recorder To Tivo?

I have a series 2 dvr Tivo I want to hook up a dvd recorder so I can sent from Tivo to the DVR. Tivo has a choice that says ” send to vcr ” But I want a DVR can it be done And How?
Please don’t use tech talk I’m stupid when it come to hooking up electronics :(

    Hi Colleen,
    Red Yellow White connects from the TiVo output into the DVD recorders Red Yellow White input.
    Now so you can monitor what you are doing connect a Red Yellow White to the DVD recorders output to the Red Yellow White input on your TV.
    You should be good to go.

    You can follow the instructions for sending it to VCR, except instead of connecting the audio video cables to a VCR, connect them to the DVD recorder. It will work the same way..

    There are dvd recorders you can use but some tivos & even some tv signals that have electronic signals like macromedia that prevent that kind of thing.
    Google the terms homebrew and tivo, and you’ll see how to make your own tivo out of a pc that’ll have an operating system and a dvd drive. Not hard to do…
