Marriage And Tech School?

My fiance join the Air Force, and is currently half way through BMT. We were planning to get married after she returns from Tech School, but I was talking with a friend last night, and he brought up another mutual friend that joined awhile back, she got married after BMT before Tech School, and her husband was able to go to Tech with her.
Does anyone know if I were to get married to my Fiance between BMT and Tech whether I could go with her or not?

You will only go if her school is long enough. I believe it’s over 20 weeks, but may have changed.
It’s still a good idea to get married in between even if you can’t move with her. That way she gets the paperwork in and starts receiving BAH for you, and you will be insured. When she gets to a point where she can get overnights off post you could visit and rent a hotel or something. Also once she is done with school and does PCS (move to her new post) her orders will be accompanied and the military will pay to move you.

Yes I do! If you are married and are active duty not guard or reserve you can join your wife at her tech school in which the AF will pay for moving expenses and your wife will receive BAH and BAS benefits.
However, at some bases they have a Phase program and a airman has to reach Phase 3 in order to move their spouse. It generally takes up to 5 weeks to get to Phase 3…..also, it depends on the length of Tech School, some tech schools are shorter than others. The longer the tech school the better of a chance of joining her.
Also you must take into consideration that just because your future wife is almost done with Basic Training doesnt mean she will graduate on time or even at all! She could be recycled, she could be sent to 319…..she could get hurt.
Brace yourself for anything. I will also tell you that the girl you knew will not be the girl you will see at her graduation. The military makes people stronger and more structured. Be patient with her…its hard to transition from Basic to Civilian life too GOod luck to you I hope this helps..
Oh yeah and if you go there to stay while she is in Tech School you need to know that if her Average drops…..she must live in the squadran again!!!!! Just be prepared!!!!
