Even the magazine and online reviews start to downgrade older gadgets simply because new versions have been released.
We don’t feel driven to replace our Vacuum cleaner or washing machine every time a new model comes out.
Why do people feel the need to replace mobile phones, laptops, MP3 players etc. whenever a new model is released.

there is a small hole on the upper right side that supposed to release. It did for a while but doesn’t now. i can spray some penetrating oil in that hole and it sometimes releases…….what can I do ? if you need a phone number to talk , just ask.

They’ve classified my scanner as obsolete and are trying to get me to pay $2 a min to talk with a tech support person about how I can get the thing to work. Would anyone happen to know why my Visioneer OneTouch 9120 USB is scanning some portions of black in images in the color red? The glass does not seem to be dirty, it has not ever been treated rough (always been on my desk), it hasn’t even been used all that much. Any ideas?

Long story made short. Put together a system for first time since 90s.. It wont POST. There are onboard POST code LEDs on the motherboard. CAlled tech supprt, was told the code I was seeing means no power to the CPU and did I have the other plug, plugged in. Im not sure what they’re talking about because the documentation that came with the board doesnt address this and the gentleman I spoke to was difficult to understand through his accent. Is there indeed more to powering a CPU then just plugging it into it’s socket? Does motherboard need additional power beyond the 24pin connector?

We have been in talks for $75 million for Asia and Europe. U.S. cable companies were there. Nokia has shown an interest. We need more money for labs and engineering.
We have raised about $350,000 so far, have been in business for 1 1/2 years, and we should make a very substantial company. Private stock available for $.25 per share.
