What Will Void My Warranty For My New Hp Desktop?

I talked to tech support, but the guy didn’t seem to know very much about anything (including the warranty information). Will installing Windows XP on a partition of my hard drive nullify the warranty? (and also what else will)

Nop? As long as ur not overwriting it OVER the existing Operating system u have now then ur fine. What i did wa sjust get another hard disk and then install Vista on that and and now when i load up it tcomputer it asks me which do i want…
Preytyt cool. Umm warrenty just plain if u bust it by dropping or viruses that s pretty mcuh it

Just loading software on your system should not have any impact on your warranty. Opening the computer or doing any hardware exchange will probably Void your Warranty. Exception is if you may have a CD or DVD Drive which is made to be interchangeable.
