    It’s probably a name common to the region and culture in which they live, just like Melissa and Mark are common names in the U.S.
    While I agree it can be a pain to communicate, companies do it to save on labor cost. If they have to pay an American phone support person $15 bucks an hour, but they can outsource and get people to do it for $1 an hour, they will.
